Get to know Melanie

I’m Melanie Barnard, a child of God and a Christian inspirational speaker. A few years ago, my life was radically changed by the power of God’s presence. Since then, I’ve carried a deep passion and burning desire in my heart that is led by the Holy Spirit to share God’s Word with others on my personal blog. I grew up in a deeply devoted Christian household, where my mother practiced spiritual warfare, and from an early age, I sensed that God had a special calling on my life. That calling has taken me on an incredible journey speaking on television alongside well-known local celebrities, but through it all, God has taught me that truly serving Him isn’t about glamour or recognition; it’s about obedience, faithfulness, and walking in His purpose. My mission is to inspire a lifestyle where you embrace who you are as an individual, created and loved by God. Because I strongly believe that everyone always needs the ministry of encouragement. Today, I am a certified Christian fitness coach for women and an author. Through my personal testimony of being renewed in Christ after experiencing a traumatic event, I felt inspired to help women rediscover their worth and beauty in every season. This led me to create my face fitness eBook, the very first of its kind, a Christian-oriented face fitness programme designed to restore both physical beauty and confidence as a daughter of Christ. I am also a couture and freelance fashion designer with over 10 years of experience. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a model-turned-actress in an international film and create a custom collection for a renowned music artist. After taking a few years to realign my life with God’s purpose, I recently relaunched my couture atelier from home, where I design custom dresses, assist small businesses with private label collections, and create my own modest clothing range. Through my work, I share faith-based inspiration and items available in my online store that uplift and reflect a lifestyle where you know who you are in Christ. Believe me when I say I’ve tried separating God’s calling on my life from making a living. But the truth is, God has transformed me on such a deep level that everything I do keeps finding its way back to flowing from a place where I cannot serve others while separating myself from being a child of God who has answered their calling.
